This is a big worry.
I am a the parent of 2 male gen-xer's, which I suppose makes me a baby boomer!
I have concerns for both of them and the rest of their generation.
Even though my children were raised on wholesome fresh food, which they both still have a taste for, but only if it is cooked for them.
Like a lot in their age bracket, they are single, in their 30's and no dependants.
Even from the late 1960's the rot had started to set in, society become so fast, everything came packaged, fast cars, fast food mass produced containing no proper nourishment.
Our world was going through the fastest social changes in history.
It was hard to keep up with what was expected.
All wars are senseless, but it was the time of the Vietnam War, protests, rock n' roll, drugs.
It was a strange time in our history for young ones who could see conflicting issues. Their parents whose ideals in this new age differed so much from their grandparents. The boomers struggled to give the xer's a foundation to build their own core values on, struggled because they were still trying to find the new values for themselves.
So then we develop all sorts of way to modify the growing of our crops, fertilisers, pesticides. I do not want to name names but the big corporations engulfed worldwide control of chemicals, that somehow every major country needed for agriculture.
The same scenario with medical companies, we were offered meds for everything.
Even our drinking water is tampered with.
Then along come the take-away / fast food outlets / softdrinks / candies / tv dinners.
Oh I rest my case. Sometimes it is just like talking in circles.
Mac/KFC/CC/Monsanto ???
