WIKILEAKS: Swedish Sex Case: by Alan Taylor
It is becoming pretty clear that political involvement is driving the ongoing saga of the Assange sex case in Sweden. United States involvement at this time, although likely, is far from evident. What is evident is that there are several nebulous figures involved in this case, each one with a personal agenda ; Marianne Ny head of Sweden's prosecution office; and the other a prominent figure in Sweden's ruling Social Democrat Party attorney Claes Borgstrom.
The SDP supports a strong military, and has has defence cooperation agreements with the United States, and has access to United States intelligence gathering and analysis infrastructure via Swedish Military Intelligence Agency (MUST) in Upsalla. In addition the National Security Agency designed and provided technology for HMS Orion Sweden's SIGINT intelligence gathering ship. The whole point of this is to demonstrate that the Swedes are far from neutral, and are integrated into the United States global SIGINT operations.
The driver in this sorry affair is the SDP wheeler dealer Claes Borgstrom. Borgstrom is a long time supporter of Sweden's military association with the United States. Could Borgstom be acting as a proxy for the United States in nailing Assange? Yes, it is possible.
The other character is the very vocal Marianne Ny; prosecutor; and advocate of extending rape crime and sexual assault into other areas of sexual behaviour. It was upon Borgdtrom's insistence in a phone call to Ny that resulted in the re-opening of the Assange case.
So where does this leave Assange? The brief answer is, "exposed". However, under no circumstances should Assange surrender to the Swedish authorities. Let them find him, this will give time for this whole ball of Swedish wax to unravel, and expose the Swedes as being far from neutral in this sordid little affair they have cooked up.
The Swedes are firmly in the pockets of the Americans, and the Bilderberg Group. In fact the head of the Swedish Social Democratic Party Mona Ingeborg Sahlin is a prominent Bilderberger and conference attender.

Ok Claes Borgstrom, who the bloody hell is he beside a lawyer and a Social Democratic politician? 2000 and 2007, Borgström was appointed by the Swedish government as the Equal Opportunities Ombudsman. He now has his own law office together with Social Democratic politician and former Minister for Justice Thomas Bodström.[3] Since 2008 he is also the Swedish Social Democratic Party's spokesperson on gender equality issues. Now the plot thickens:
the “rape" investigation was reversed after the intervention of a political figure, Claes Borgstrom, who is now acting for the women. The case was given to a specific prosecutor, Marianne Ny.
Assange's lawyer states my client has repeatedly offered to be interviewed, first in Sweden before he left, and then subsequently in the UK (including at the Swedish Embassy), either in person or by telephone, videoconferencing or email and he has also offered to make a sworn statement on affidavit. All of these offers have been flatly refused by a prosecutor who is abusing her powers by insisting that he return to Sweden at his own expense to be subjected to another media circus that she will orchestrate. This behavior is not a prosecution, but a persecution.
